Medjat is a TV show tracker for iPhone. Follow a series, mark episodes as you watch them, and count down to whatever airs next. Everything is saved instantly on your device, with no account to create.

What it does

  • Track without friction

    Mark an episode seen in one tap, or a whole season at once. Your library is split into Continue Watching, To Watch, See Later and My Shows, so the next thing to play is the first thing you see.

  • Never miss an air date

    A countdown to every scheduled episode of the shows you follow, optional notifications when a new one is out, and a home screen widget for the next air dates.

  • Import from TV Time

    TV Time is shutting down. Request your data export and hand Medjat the .zip: it matches each series against The Movie Database and restores your watched history, rewatches included.

  • Your own record

    Every episode logged earns XP and raises your rank. Collect amulets for streaks and milestones, keep a private diary with ratings and notes, and read your statistics over any period.

  • No account, nothing to remember

    No sign-up, no password, no email address. Your library follows your iCloud Keychain onto your next device, and a recovery code restores it anywhere else.

  • Built for iOS 26

Accessibility

Medjat is built to be usable by ear, by voice and by keyboard as much as by sight. Here is what the iPhone app actually supports, feature by feature. Every claim below is backed by code or by an automated test that fails if the behaviour disappears.

  • VoiceOver

    Supported

    Every control has a name, a value and, where it helps, custom actions. Compound rows are announced as one thing instead of field by field: an episode row reads "Watches" with its count and offers "Add a watch" and "Step back one watch" as rotor actions, a verdict badge reads "34 percent, Isfet", the experience bar reads "Level 7, 320 of 500 XP". The statistics period switch is a proper adjustable element, so swiping up or down changes the period instead of hunting for a target. Decorative artwork is hidden rather than announced as an unnamed image, and every spoken string is translated, so VoiceOver speaks your language. A TV Time import that finishes, fails, pauses or needs your review is announced out loud even when you are on another screen.

  • Voice Control

    Supported

    No button is a silent icon: every control carries either visible text inside the button or an explicit label, so "Tap <name>" resolves everywhere. The compact controls (toolbar back button, episode watch stepper, bulk-action bar, segment buttons, avatar picker) keep a 44 point minimum target, which is also what makes the "Show numbers" overlay usable. Selection is exposed as a state, not only as a tint.

  • Larger Text

    Supported

    100% of the app's text styles follow Dynamic Type; there is no fixed point size anywhere in the interface. All eleven typographic roles genuinely grow through the accessibility sizes, including when the custom typefaces are unavailable, and SF Symbols scale with the text they sit next to. A test fails if any role stops growing.

  • Dark Interface

    Supported

    The app follows the system light or dark setting and never forces its own. 43 of the 48 theme colours ship distinct light and dark values; the remaining 5 are the papyrus tones, used as artwork and never as a surface under text. Contrast is verified in both appearances, not only in dark.

  • Differentiate Without Color Alone

    Supported

    No information is carried by colour alone. Every coloured badge also carries a symbol and a word: a verdict shows its percentage and its tier spelled out, library badges write "Tracked", "Favorite", "See later" or "Dropped" each with its own symbol, and a score reads "4.2/5". Selected items carry a checkmark and a selected state alongside the gold tint.

  • Sufficient Contrast

    Supported

    Every text and background pair is measured with the WCAG contrast formula and has to reach 4.5:1 for body text, or 3:1 for the documented large-text roles, in light as well as dark. Translucent tokens and glass fills are composited over their real surface before being measured, and gradients placed behind text are checked at both ends. Three colours from the design that missed the threshold were adjusted rather than declared compliant.

  • Reduced Motion

    Supported

    With Reduce Motion on, the continuous effects stop: the aurora background no longer drifts or pulses, the tilt driven by the iPhone's motion sensors is never started (and stops immediately if you change the setting while the app is open), and the launch screen drops its halo and its sweep. What remains are state crossfades shorter than 0.3 seconds, which this setting is not meant to suppress.

One limit, stated plainly

On a show's page, the title laid over the banner at the top stops growing past the second accessibility text size. It is anchored inside a fixed-height banner and would otherwise slide under the floating buttons. The same title and the same details appear again further down the screen with no size cap at all, and VoiceOver reads them in full.

Captions and audio descriptions

Not applicable: the app contains no audio or video content. Medjat is text, artwork and data only, so there is nothing to caption or describe.
